Callie’s Corner opened in May 2016 by me, Merri Voigt. The shop is named after my beloved calico cat, Callie. I felt it was a fitting tribute to her, as I felt Callie was in many ways just like a quilt – she was multicolored and was nice to snuggle up with.
My love of quilting started when I was a little girl. My mother taught all of her six daughters the art of sewing. Over the years our interests diversified. We now have two quilters and two cross stitchers. I am primarily a quilter. One sister is primarily a cross stitcher and one sister does both. I recently made the difficult decision to close our physical location. Items are still available through this website.
I welcome feedback and any questions you may have.

Meet the crafters making our items.
When I opened the shop, I did not yet have a lot of completed items to sell. So, I decided to ask my sister, Beverly Weathers, if she would be interested in making items for the shop, as well. She was more than happy to contribute quilted items as well as some of the fun things we carry like bowl cozies and girls’ t-shirt dresses. As time has passed, I also enlisted the talents of one other sister, Patti Phipps a talented cross-stitcher. If there’s something you want and you can’t find it on the website, there’s a good chance one of us will be able to accommodate you!
